The Lumbee Nation is a 55,000 member tribe residing in Robeson, Hoke, Cumberland and Scotland counties in North Carolina. They are the largest tribe in North Carolina, the largest east of the Mississippi River and the ninth largest in the nation. The Lumbee are the Amalgamation of various Siouan, Algonquian and Iroquoian speaking Nations.
