Blackdom, New Mexico
The town of Blackdom was founded in the early 1900's by Francis Marion Boyer in New Mexico. By 1908 the town had a population of 300 people a newspaper, church, school and local businesses. After crop failure and other calamities the town depopulated around the 1920's. All that is left of this Black Town is a Postal Account Book for Blackdom 1912-1920.
